  Product DescriptionWhen looking to fit our carbon fibre induction kit FMINDK47 to a 2019 onwards VAG group vehicle that is powered by a DNWA 2019 onwards, you may find that the diverter valve hose to the DV elbow requires an adaptor. Earlier models utilise a straight silicone hose joiner, however these later models use a rectangular joiner. FMBH8 is designed to fit USDM and ROW vehicles that typically use this type of diverter valve hose, whereas European and UK spec vehicles tend to use a straight silicone hose.   Similar to many of the newer VAG engines, the latest 1.0 TSI power plant is not equipped with a diverter valve fitted as standard, Forge Motorsport has developed a twin piston dump valve that not only gives you a loud audible sound when lifting off the throttle, but also increases the throttle response during gear changes by reducing turbo lag. It has been designed to help the turbocharger maintain its rotational speed ready for when you accelerate, whilst also taking the strain away from the impeller. Without removing this stress from your turbo, it can lead to premature failure especially on remapped engines and modified vehicles.       This valve kit allows the fitment of our fast response blow off valve preventing turbo surge and prolonging the life of your engine’s turbocharger. The kit includes all the necessary hardware and step by step installation instructions for any car enthusiast with appropriate garage tools to fit at home, in just a couple of hours!  Due to the exposed position of the OEM boost pipe and the nature of heat cycle, the plastic that the OEM pipe is made from can deteriorate over time, becoming brittle and susceptible to boost leaks. This Blow Off, or Dump valve, is for the Mercedes 2.0 Turbo GDi engine found in the CLA250 that has the electronically controlled bypass valve. It is recommended for any vehicle where the boost pressure has been increased by an ECU software upgrade and for unmodified vehicles operating in warmer climates, as a solution to the many failures that have occurred where the original rubber diaphragm splits, which causes a loss of boost pressure. This valve kit is an evolution of the FMARSDV dump valve we market for the 8P chassis RS3. It was developed for those who have tuned, or plan to tune, their 8S chassis Audi TTRS or 8V chassis Audi RS3 in excess of 450hp. Audi have seen fit to not change the design of the OEM dump valve from the previous RS3, so the same issues are carried over to the new 8V chassis, namely it was observed that cars over 450bhp were randomly getting errors from the stock solenoid dump valve not functioning. Whilst the stock valve will operate as designed, with the boost level necessary for 450bhp the stock valve couldn’t move the volume of air it needed to, so the ECU was seeing too great a positive boost in the MAP readings between gearchanges and assuming the stock valve wasn’t functioning correctly. We looked closely at this issue, and noted that there would be no real fix for this as the size of the hole for the valve is too small in the stock elbow. We decided that we would re-design and produce our own elbow, allowing a much larger DV port, which in turn would allow fitment of a larger valve to take advantage of it. We also improved the internal flow of the elbow and removed restriction within the valve. The Splitter is a truly remarkable valve that gives a combination of blow off and recirculation valve operation, all at the same time, and has been specifically designed for the many turbo engined applications that operate metered airflow management systems. This means you get all the noise of the blow off valve whilst retaining the compatibility with the recirculation requirements of the engine management system. As a bonus we also offer the ability to convert the valve to recirculation only mode for those times when stealth running is required. This valve uses a Brass piston which utilises new sealing technology along with a variable spring preload, incorporating a ratchet type top adjuster that will allow for the positive and precise adjustment to match the valve to your engine. This is achieved by using a unique single, conical, progressive rate spring, that can allow for the retention of boost pressure over a wide adjustment range. This unique spring design also allows for unrestricted piston travel and flow volume regardless of the amount of pre-load adjustment added to the spring. Other manufacturers' valves use cylindrical springs with adjustable pre-load, which often experience restricted piston travel and a reduction in flow volume. When we say our products are Engineered For Performance, it's not a catchy sales phrase, it's the truth. and we prove it with every product we manufacture.
